Infection: Severe diarrhoea, leading onto more complicated disease of the intestine, called pseudomembranous colitis. You can see an example of an infected intestine, within the picture. The yellow spots are the infecting bacteria.

Symptoms: Severe, very watery diarrhoea, stomach cramps, fever, dehydration, nausea.
