Infection: Cystic fibrosis. This is a disease that causes a build up of thick mucus. This is the perfect environment for bacteria to grow, and causes severe infection.
Symptoms: Problems with breathing (wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath), weight loss, yellow skin (jaundice), severe infections that eventually lead to lung failure.
